Why do you recommend superfood smoothies?

What is your greatest success story in helping another person get healthy?
My greatest success story is helping a client lose almost 100 lbs. through nutrient dense whole foods and exercise. She no longer has seasonal allergies, blood sugar issues, cavities, brain fog, and rarely gets a cold or the flu.
What is your passion?
My passion is educating and helping people learn how to source and prepare nutrient dense whole foods, how good it can taste, and how it can help them feel and look better, reducing or eliminating their symptoms and conditions.
What first motivated you to pursue a healthier, cleaner diet?
Not feeling or looking my best motivated me to pursue a healthier and cleaner diet. The low fat diet that I had been following forever was not working for me. I attended a seminar by Sally Fallon of the Weston A. Price Foundation on eating a nutrient dense whole foods diet and that changed my life forever!
If you had to choose one, what would be your favorite fruit and favorite vegetable and why?
My favorite fruit is the avocado. Avocados excellent nutritional profile includes pantothenic acid, fiber, copper, folate, b6, vitamin e, potassium, vitamin C and uniquely monounsaturated fat.
What type of physical activities do you participate in and why?
I enjoy walking for relaxation, yoga for meditation, cross country skiing for nature and cardio training, kayaking for nature and upper body strength and tennis for short burst training and competitiveness.
What advice would you give to someone who is considering making positive changes to their diet, exercise regimen, or lifestyle in general?
My advice to anyone considering making diet, fitness and lifestyle changes is to do your homework! There is a lot of health/diet misinformation out there. Find a qualified healthcare practitioner for guidance. Be patient with yourself, take it slow (small changes), give yourself permission to make mistakes and do not be afraid to ask for help.
