About Maca Root Powder

Maca is a root vegetable grown in the high Andes of Peru for over 3,000 years.  It is a relative of the radish and may also be known as Peruvian Ginseng.  It was used by the Incas for medicinal purposes – in particular for energy, mental clarity, and enhanced sex drive.
