Maqui (also known as Chilean wineberry or Aristotelia Chilensis), is a wild berry from an evergreen shrub native to southern Chilean forests (e.g. Patagonia region). It was eaten by the Mapuche Indians and continues to be harvested by the Mapuche Indians.
